Should I do all AP classes this year?

I have done really well in AP classes in my sophomore through junior year, but I don’t know if I can handle all AP classes including STUCO, NHS, HOSA and Key Club.

If you want to go to a good school, then yes.

No, I wouldn’t reccomend it. AP classes are supposed to be equivalent to the work you get in college classes, but are sometimes more rigorous because of the shorter timeframe before the AP test. In college you only take about 5 classes a semester, plus most college classes are every other day so you only have 2-3 classes worth of homework each night. If you were to take 6 AP classes at a time in high school, you’ll have way too much homework. I’m not saying it can’t be done, but with all you extracurriculars, plus college applications and such, it would be very exhausting.

It’s your senior year, have some fun! At least take 1 or 2 not-so-serious classes (I recommend culinary arts). It will be a nice break from all that work 🙂

It depends. Just how stressed do you want to be?

Seriously, take the AP classes in the subjects you feel comfortable and enjoy. I refuse to take AP History, though its magically appeared on my schedule for the last two years because I know I’m horrible at history despite being strong in math, english, and science. Go with the number of classes you feel you can do, just know some AP classes may be a double period, and all will require more work than you can possibly imagine.

AP training are not confusing except you do no longer examine. Your grade relies upon plenty extra on you in AP than often or Honors training. In my Honors training, i ought to easily pay interest at college and get a minimum of a B (yet I consistently studied, so I consistently have been given As). yet when I in basic terms payed interest in my AP US historic previous type, i could probable fail each and every attempt. the real studying comes from examining my textual content cloth e book. as long as you reside up alongside with your examining,t he course would be common.

Be realistic colleges don’t look at AP classes achievement. If you graduate with at least a 3.0 average you’ll get a full ride somewhere in your state. I learned this the hard way, after working my tail off in HS, then going to college only to find out people with lower grades, recieved more money because they had a higher GPA.

Yes, of course–You’ve handled the courseload before, and you’ve grown as a person and student because of it. As a senior, you can handle the additional clubs as well.

it depends on your learning style. im in IB (my version of ap) and ive been told its roughly 2 hours more homework a night. they teach VERY fast, and the curriculum is much harder.

seems like way too much… but if you think you can handle it i don’t see why not…it’ll save your parents a bunch of money once you’re in college…

good luck!
