My friend Joe got a grant for $350,000?
He is going to be doing real estate so that’s what the money is for. But he is also using the money for school. So my question is can he get in for using the grant money for other things as well. My opinion is no becuase grants don’t have to be paid back and not only that grants are for us the people. That’s basically are tax money. So what’s your answer?

It depends on the terms of the grant and the classes he takes.
If the grant includes educational classes for the given business and he takes classes for the business he is fine.
Pretty much any other instance and he can find himself in hot water with the grantee and could have his grant revoked.
