Money for Books and Personal Expenses?

I filled out my fafsa a long time ago and my financial aid statement gave full coverage through scholarships, grants and loans. But my parents decided to not take out a parent loan like suggested for $2000 and I still have to do work study for an additional $2000. So how will I get the money needed for personal expenses and books. How much could I expect to get refunded after my aid is dispersed? I am just worried that the $4000 that I have to provide will be expected to be for my personal expenses.

without any identifying info heres what I can tell you my daughter did and you can try some of the same….A word of warning though do not believe all of the websites out there that promise to give you aid for cash…there are several that will do the same thing you just have to be willing to wade through all the steps to find the one right for you….

We live in Iowa and the state along with some banks will do what is called a student loan…very similar to a parent loan, but the responsible party is YOU the student…check with your college and its website and maybe your state will do the same…also in general some banks will do the same kind of loan for you too.
