Of course, community colleges are only 2-year programs, but the courses can be transferred to a 4-year college. In most states, the major state universities give you full credit for your community college courses. Just make sure you take “real” academic subjects, like you would in a 4-year college, and you will be fine.
The best part of all is that community colleges are much less expensive than other colleges, so that will help a lot financially.
