I defalted on student loan. will I ever be able to get one again?

you would have to get your loan out of default. you can do that by consolidating or talking with your lender to make specific payment arrangements. after you pay on time every month for a year or so they can take the loan out of default status. until that happens, you will not be eligible for any new loans.

Call the bank or Sallie Mae – who ever you were last dealing with. Offer to make payments.
If you did completely deafault on your loan and don’t make it right, you will probably not get another loan of any kind for 7 years.
