If you go back to school at least half time basis you are eligible for an In School Deferment. During a period of deferment, your loan payments on on hold and your subsidized portion of your loans do not accrue interest. If any or all of your oans are unsubsidized – they will always accrue interest. When you begin attending at least half time, call your student loan servicer to request this type of deferment.
A forbearance is similar to a deferment, but you do not have to meet as strict eligibility guidelines as a deferment. During a period fo forbearance, your payments are stopped or drastically reduced (your choice). However, interest accrues during this period and will capitialize at the end of your forbearance (capitalize – means its added to the Principal Balance of your loan)
FYI – if you are not sure who your student loan servicer is, you can call FAFSA and they will tell you and give you the correct ph #. FAFSA’s ph # is 1-800-433-3243

Check the loan agreement you signed, but I suspect the answer is No.

Yes, as long as you are enrolled in school, your loans will be in forbearance.
