Currently i am attending college on line and i am trying

to get extra funding for a laptop and other school materials

i am pursing my BS IT= (Bachelors of Science in Information Technology ) at University of Phoenix ,Do anybody know where i can get help because my college is not responding.

There are a couple possible solutions for you. First of all, have you used all your available Federal Student Loans for the year? If you haven’t I would suggest looking into that option.

A second option you have available to you is obtaining a Private Student Loan to cover the extra costs of your education. If you have filled out your FAFSA you should be quailified for a Stafford subsidized or unsubsidized loan. You also can check and see if you qualify for a Perkins loan which has the lowest rates for federal loans (5-6%). Your best bet is to physically go into the financial aid office and make your questions directly to person that can help you. If you don’t qualify for federal loans, you may try a private loan, and if you have a co-signer you can get a better rate.

Also Century 21 has a program that will assist you in getting a computer. They have a program that you attend a class and they will show you how to build a computer. You get the knowledge of building a computer, as well as a free computer with programming for your needs, and it is BRAND NEW.

I know you said you checked with the fin aid office. But check again. UP only uses certain lenders and they might not certify loans from anyone else. Though that would be wrong. Check carefully into private loans. Watch the interest rates and fees. Stafford loans should be your first choice.
