How much money will I get in my first advance of my GI Bill for college?
I am an Military vet going to college and I will be using my MGI Bill. I asked for an advance in pay which is pretty much my first 2 months in one lump sum. But I have NO idea how much that is! Can someone tell me what they recieved if they had recieved when they got there advance? Thanks

i know you get on or about1500 per month for your GI bill… so if they’re supposed to give you a 2 month advance, i guess you’ll get 3000 for your advance.

The advance payment can consist of this….say the fall semester begins on Aug 23. You are like get the prorate portion for the month of Aug and the full month of September and probably part of October. Your next payment will be around November.
