Great college recomendation?
Do you think a recommendation from the president of an oil rich country that I happen to be related to somehow will get me in to a good college? Maybe an ivy leauge??

Yes, but make sure the college does not know he/she is related to you. Colleges do not like seeing recommendations that are from family members. Good Luck!

Colleges like to receive recommendations from someone that knows your work ethic, like a teacher, employer, coach… etc. They are the ones to likely write a more persuasive letter then your family member. It never hurts to have a few letters, just try to include one from someone that knows you academically along with your relative. GOOD LUCK 🙂
