Road blocks always collect loads of cash, but you have to get a permit from the city, It’s not hard to get, just a pain. You can always go in pairs door to door. And then there is a raffle, you’ll want to check with your police dept. to make sure it’s legal, but it is in most places. What you do is get a few of the local business to donate a door prize and then sell raffle tickets or sell them at a silent auction, usually raffle tickets earn more. We get the florist to donate either gift baskets or gift certificates, they do really well, Chain stores are actually very good about donations for such activities. You can even ask local veterinarians to donate a spay or neuter, or some frontline or whatever they feel comfortable with. The possibilities are only as limited to your clubs imagination.
