financial aid?
Can someone tell me who will get the financial aid?students or parents?I am freshman, and my college said that they cover my tution, but I don’t know who can get the check from college?me or my parents?

If you have a parent loan, the money will be sent to your parents. If you have loans, grants, scholarships etc. that are in your name, the check goes to you.

Check with the financial aid office at your school. You should be able to look at your award letter to determine what type of aid you received. Typically funds in excess of your COA (cost of attendance) are refunded to the student if you have a Pell Grant or sub/unsub loans.
