I’m guessing you mean you haven’t taken these tests yet, right? Since you’re just now a sophomore. Contrary to what everyone else has assumed, I doubt you meant you weren’t planning on taking them. Especially since the earliest you’d take them would be at the end of your sophomore year, lol. What I did was estimate what I would make on ACT/SAT, or you could put your goal score. For me I put a 30 down for the ACT, even though I only came out with a 28 in the end. The scores don’t matter too much on searches. If you want elite schools, put a higher score. Or just put down a perfect score so that you can see all of the options based on your other criteria. I like princetonreview.com for searches about majors and colleges. Good luck!!

There are schools out there that don’t require the SAT or ACT. You can find a list of them at www.fairtest.org. However, the less statistical information you give a school to work with, the more you’re going to have to impress them with your focus, determination, and other intangibles (like good grammar).

Well, if you’re only in tenth grade you should at least give the SATS a shot. It will open up your options..

If not, you can start at a community college and transfer to a state school. Then you won’t need test scores (well, at least that’s the case where I live- in Massachusetts).

Psychology is a waste of a degree… Unless you are seriously considering going into that field. Most people who are psych majors are the ones trying to figure out why they are so screwed up…

Paralegals and Criminology major can actually find work once they are out of college…

You will need to take the ACT and SAT exams to go to any University, other than DeVry. My advice is to look into local/state schools and see what they offer. If you go out of state, you will pay through the nose, sometimes 4x as much as instate residents… Since I don’t know what you are in, I can’t recommend any schools.

Me? I like the University of Colorado at Boulder… But, that’s my school so of course I am biased…

Unfortunately all colleges and universities will require you to have standardized test scores. Community colleges often have their own tests if you haven’t taken the SAT or ACT.

u mean cuz u dont want to take the SAT? I would say either way, get an account on collegeboard.com. Its amazing! it gives you majors to consider, careers to consider, a personality test, and info about alot of college and whether they want the SAT or not.
