Why don’t more people use the spell check provided?

I hit that button every chance I get. If only they had grammar check because your question would be “An answer might be better received…” or “An answer may be better received…”
Keep in mind some people are better prepared with the language arts than others.

Also, I think most people do use it; however they use it to make sure that all their words are misspelt. Didn’t you know? It’s hip and trendy to make your writing more difficult to comprehend!

i don’t know what’s more annoying: when people can’t spell correctly “forcing” me to put just a little more effort into deciphering what was trying to be said, or people that nit-pick spelling errors when it’s OBVIOUS what was trying to be conveyed. really now, i can figure out what’s being asked, no matter how atrocious the spelling, and if you can’t figure it out why even bother to take the time to comment “learn how to spell” because that’s rather childish.
