because you’re a moron. spelling doesn’t matter. standard english is a form of socioeconimic-ism. just because someone doesn’t speak the way middle-upper class folk speak don’t mean they dumb. other dialects, such as AAVE follow just as strict grammatical rules as standard english. The most important thing is if something is understandable. And if I say ther aint gon be no class morrow … you most likely still understand what i be sayin’, no?

Oh and to everyone saying it’s because they don’t check their spellcheck… spellcheck wouldn’t say that their, they’re, there, you’re, or your are wrong….
in fact my spellcheck is telling me that “spellcheck” is wrong. I guess it expects me to write spell check. But spellcheck is understandable to most people, methinks.
And, duce, I think writing with “improper dialects” is much more “artful” than proper essays. Mark Twain, for example?

Apparently people don’t know what “check spelling” means. Some browsers will actually flag misspelled words (like Firefox), but they don’t pay attention to that either.
