First of all to the lady that was bothered by the use of the word “hell”, why did you use it?, and why did you answer the Question?.

You will burn slowly, in hell, I guess that makes it slow, but as far as fast, I guess you can say, You will wind up in hell fast, the way you are going!.

Swearing by using words like hell is just a lazy way to come up with something to say. If you look at the use of similar words you’ll see they are used in multiple situations. The speaker doesn’t have to come up with an adjective, noun, or any other word. It’s like a lack of vocabulary.

I’m sure it is all a result of people saying things like “hot as Hell”.

What ever Hell might be, it is certainly extreme, and that’s all the expression means …VERY!
