If you are talking the Crusades of the past, the Muslims overall won. If you are saying the war in Iraq is a holy war which it is not…it is political…I would say it is still unknown

I’ve read the Torah. Three different english translations. And I’ve read numerous translations of the old testament. They all say the same thing. Jews no longer proselytize in the West. It died out after the advent of Christianity. For a Jew to encourage a Christian to leave the Church and become a Jew would have meant a death sentence. There is still some proselytizing among Jews in parts of Africa and elsewhere in the world. The Christian teaching on divorce varies some from Church to Church. It is generally not allowed in the Roman Church and it is strongly discouraged in the Orthodox Churches. A person can however receive an ecclesiastical divorce in the Orthodox Church and it has been that way since the fifth century. It is a matter for the Patriarchs to decide and has nothing to with homosexuality.

If you are referring to medieval times the Muslims won, because the Christians were unable to convert them. The Muslims fought for their way of life in their lands.

Danger Dog you are a patronizing pr*ck. I realise things were more complicated. What is simple is your need to feel important by putting others down. No one can say who are the rightful rulers of a country/region if you are to go back to the day dot. The Muslims were the rulers at the time of the Holy Wars therefore they were fighting for their lands and their beliefs regardless of who went before them.

Nobody “wins” wars.

One side just kills enough to make the other side give up or call a truce.

So, by my definition, no winner can be declared in your stated “holy” war.

Juzzy must not have heard of a little thing called the Byzantine empire. It was invaded by the muslim armies. The crusades were a blunderous attempt to reclaim that land. The crusades and the jihad that lead up to them were a lot more complicated than you make it out to be honey

Not over yet. But with the punks, cowards and wieners on the Christian side, I feel the ultimate victory and enslavement of the world will be done by Islam.

The real war is the war of the spiritual realm. It is not of flesh and blood, powers or principalities, or anything worldly.

(2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

This is the war we are really in, the one that matters.

I don’t believe there is anything “holy” about war and for certain there were no winners. Read up on History, Pal. Love in Christ, ~J~
