“used to” is a similar idiom meaning: had been repeatedly or habitually (doing something). It is related to the first in that it suggests the action that, if repeated, will become (get) habitual.
“get use to” is just meaningless.

when you say “used” as in get accustomed to something or start to like it after a while, you put used, not use, even though saying it kinda sounds like use

Now that I think about it… This is a hard question. o-o It sounds like we’re saying “used” irl, but it’s actually “use”.
Because uh… you’re implying you might get USE out of the subject, which is… “this”. oo;
