Objective is without a personal opinion or interpretation. Subjective includes personal thoughts and feelings. For example a news reporter that reports a story on a train crash may report the time of crash, how many were hurt and the name of the train company – all objective facts none of which required the reporter to interpret the information. If the reporter included their own personal feelings about the crash and stated how bad the crash was and how she believed the crash occurred that is subjective because it involves the reporters personal feelings.

Objective is a verifiable observation. Subjective can only be determined by personal experience. Example: Objective: a fever. Subjective: a stomach ache.
