What would be the proper way to pose or structer this sentence?

It should be ‘no longer’ not ‘know longer’
So I guess you could say “We no longer need to contribute to the impediment of our progress” or “I no longer need to contribute to the impediment of my own progress”
Or you could say “I no longer need to add impediments to my own progress”
Learn words before you learn structure.
Words come first, structure later.
It’ll impede your progress if you do it top-down.
We need not sabotage our own success.
We are impeding our own progress and ought not to continue.
I am a barrier to my own progress, and in order to move forward, I must get out of my own way. (<--- That's kinda funny. I like that one.)
Why would one knowingly impede one’s own progress? Or should I ask Mr. Kobayashi?
