The term “déjà vu” is French for “already seen”.

The experience of déjà vu is usually accompanied by a compelling sense of familiarity, and also a sense of “eeriness”, “strangeness”, or “weirdness”. The “previous” experience is most frequently attributed to a dream, although in some cases there is a firm sense that the experience “genuinely happened” in the past. Déjà vu has been described as “remembering the future.”

Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)

The phrase “Que sera, sera” was an alteration by the songwriters of a quasi-Italian phrase, “Che sara, sara,” a fictional family motto in the 1954 film The Barefoot Contessa.[

Correct renderings of the phrase “whatever will be, will be” include:

French language: “Ce qui sera, sera”

Italian language: “Quello che sarà, sarà”

Portuguese language: “O que será, será”

Spanish language: “Lo que será, será”

Deja’ Vu is a phenomenon in which the brain has the illusion of a situation being the same as a previous situation, while most of the time, your “common sense” part of your brain says different.

I don’t know Deja Vu, but Que sera is literally “what is”, as in Que sera, sera – “What is, is”. Meaning “this is the way things are and you can’t change it.”

The previous answer is correct. If ‘que sera’ is meant to be Italian, it should be ‘que sará’ – whoever wrote the song for Doris Day got it wrong!
