Look at a list of prepositions, such as this one: http://www.abcteach.com/abclists/prepositions.htm
Play with the wording and you can figure it out like I did…you need to use the word “position” as a noun in the sentence and the preposition will always precede the word. Below are examples I came up with:
Tell me ABOUT this position.
Who did you place IN the position?
I advertised UNTIL the position was filled.
I would LIKE this position.
IN PAST positions I did not understand the politics of the job.
How much will you offer me FOR this position?
How can I work harder to be promoted TO that position?
