“disdainfully” is the predicate adjective because Jerry is the subject, “looks” is a linking verb. So you replace “looks” with an equal sign and Jerry = disdainfully (Jerry is disdainful), so disdainfully is the predicate adjective.

1. You determine the subject. (Jerry)

2. Then you determine the verb and if it is linking or action. (looks, linking)

3. If it is linking then you replace it with an equal sign, if it works and makes sense then your on track so far.

4. Then you determine if it is a noun or adjective. If noun its a predicate nominative, if its a adjective its a predicate adjective.

i don’t even think there is one in there. it has to be an adjective that can replace the main subject. for example, the building is crowded. crowded is the same as the building which is the main noun. hope that helped!
