Origin means the point at which something comes into existence or from which it derives or is derived. It has to do with ancestry: “We cannot escape our origins, however hard we try” (James Baldwin).
Evolution, on the other hand, is a gradual process in which something changes into a different and usually more complex or better form.

I wish the answers had gone into more detail. The origin part is correct; it explains from what source something is derived. However; evolution is much more complicated and is widely taken as fact; it is, in simplistic terms, the process of something changing and usually becoming more complex. There are varying forms and most would seem to contradict the very scientific laws we as humans subscribe to. I would do a wikipedia search of the word and go from there.

Origin would be the definite BEGINNING of something. Evolution would be the origin changing into something over time.

Origin is where, when, or how something started. Evolution is where it went from there.
