Acriflavine 0.1% solution is a mild antiseptic used on minor cuts and abrasions.
It’s bright yellow in colour and stains the skin, but as far as I remember it doesn’t sting like iodine.
When I was a kid I would often fall and skin my knees, so I had bright yellow knees quite often.
Chemical composition:
C14H14N3Cl: used chiefly in medicine as an antiseptic.
