You are being asked to consider the writing technique(s) used in the book and how that made it appealing. You need to look for specific examples of the writing that convey things you really liked. From those examples of writing determine what the stylistic or structural aspects are that made them impressive to you.

For example, consider who the narrator of the book was. Was it a third person who was just observing the action, or was it one of the main characters. How did the way the narrator told the story make it enjoyable. Was the language of the book descriptive in any special way with exotic images, emotionally charged language, or rhythmic cadence? Did the author use any special technical language or references that were appealing or interesting? How did the characters speak? Did they have noticeable accents or use colorful language?

There are any number of ways and words to use to tell a story. What were some of the ways and words used to tell this story that made it interesting?

Does this help?

If you don’t understand what stylistics is, nor any of the named elements, then you really need to ask your teacher. Just the first stylistic element of narrative voice alone, really must be understood before attempting to analyse any text with it.

I am afraid either you don’t pay attention in class (in which case, you’re naughty [!]) or your teacher/tutor is crap and you should report them. No-one can be expected to perform such an analysis until they have been taught the necessary skills and learned the correct terminology.

Having read the foregoing answers I am sure that you will not understand them any more than you understand the question set for your project.

May I suggest that you go back a year or two in your English course?

Have you been missing classes? If not, you are perhaps doing the wrong course for you. These are basic terms describing different parts of language.
