Rebellion – Noun – An act or state of armed resistance to one’s government. Or… A defiance of or opposition to any kind of authority or control. My son took rebellion on me when I told him to clean his room. I think this is right.

Rebellion is “open, organized, and armed resistance to one’s government or ruler; or the refusal to accept any form of authority.”

Any type of civil war is considered a rebellion.

Caz was right, except her child REBELLED against cleaning his/her room. There is a difference here. 🙂

It means opposition to one in authority or dominance.

In English terms it means to go against and almost do the exact opposite of a what a person tells you to do because you wanted to.

Jake’s rebellion against the teacher made it hard for the teacher to trust him.

It’s mostly used only in physics, sociology and political philosopy : “It is known for strong advocacy of an agential and moral perspective on government.” “[an] argument that government is properly an agential and active servant of the public good.” ” “agential realist” metaphysics” “agential social change”
