You spelled it correctly. Hustling means that you pretend you aren’t good at something so that gullible people will want to bet you on it. Then you return to your normal performance and you get the money.

“Hustle” is how you spell it.
Let’s say I am playing a game of darts. I pretend I am really really bad at darts, missing the board completley every time. Someone is watching my act, and I turn to him, and say “Hey, bet you ten bucks I can make a bullseye.” Of course, this stranger thinks you can’t possible make it because you just showed him how “bad” you are. But, then, you play for real and make the bullseye. It’s a dirty, dirty trick and I hope you never do it. But, yeah. You would get ten bucks if the stranger didn’t refuse or rip your head off. 🙂

lol, wow. um… hustling is when you really work hard to get something you want. originally came from people who used to sell/hustle drugs in the street corners. However, as words tend to do, it’s evolved to mean that you’re working hard at something.
Ex:
Friend: What’re you up to.
Me: at school, hustling.
