What does e’en mean? What does e’er mean? What does haply mean? What does happy mean? What does hence mean?

It would help to see the context but I’ll give you an overview.
E’en means that a letter has been omitted between the two E’s and therefore the probability is that the word is even.
Similarly, e’er is probably EVER. Haply is a contraction of happily. Happy means that a person’s emotional state is good and joyful. Hence means therefore.
e’er is a contraction of ever.
hap’ly is a contraction of happily. At least, I think so. I could be wrong on this one.
happy means joyful, in good spirits, having a pleasant attitude.
hence… I’m not certain. It can be used like “therefore,” but it is also a part of “henceforth,” which means “from now on.”
e’er = ever
hence = therefore
