what do people mean by a window??
i heard people saying what is the rush hour window, or i had a 5 hours window from superstore…. i heard these but now mixed up all in my mind… so can someone tell me the exact use of this phrase as i think i would love it

Yes, most people refer to a “window of opportunity”, as if the chance to do something was an opening and closing portal and only for a short period of time the “window” is open to jump through, see through, walk through or whatever.
I am not sure when the phrase was first used but it certainly has been used a lot to describe the U.S. space shuttle landing or takeoffs. Example: If they miss one “window” to reenter the earth’s atmosphere and land, the scientists will determine the next “window” of opportunity….
