what are the main noticable differences between american people?

and canadian people [or canadese if thats a word?]

because i cannot tell any difference between the 2 accents

they both sound american to me

[even though im from the uk and highly eduwcated] ?

how can i tell the 2 apart from each other?

Actually, assuming they speak EAFL (English as a first language) it is usually near impossible to tell a Canuck from a Yank, such as mr.perfesser.

Some of them do seem to use “eh” a lot, and some of them say “oot” instead of “out”, but generally they speak “American English” with very little accent.

Sometimes it is hard to tell a difference, other times Canadians have a french accent. I bet if you where to talk a southern American and a Canadian you would be able to tell a difference. LOL

Listen for a french connection because theres a lot of french accent in Canada but not in America

i am english and can tell the difference between the accents. canadians are less loud!
