My uncle is a tree hugger…he lives in Oregon. Basically they are people that realllly love the enviorment, and they try to protect forests, mainly trees. If a tree is going to be chopped down, they will basically live up in it for a long period of time, on average, about 2 weeks. Most of the trees are hundreds of years old and they are trying to protect them. They are called ‘tree huggers’ because they are a friend to the trees, and want to protect them.
