As a student in your class, I often found myself needing answers to questions in order to solidify my thoughts, wanting to better understand the previous concepts and material before the new class session. example, you were available to help me when I needed help with grasping the concept of psychological disorder behavioral patterns. You were also accessible when I needed to better understand the concept behind classical conditioning and unconditional response .Having set office hours allowed me to do this. I was able to come to you when I needed help.

I really appreciated knowing when and where help was available. I liked the way you made me comfortable and not feel ashamed for asking for help. You also showed concern for my goals and interest outside of class. You followed your course class syllabus to a tee in which it states “Take advantage of my office hours. These hours are set aside specifically for dealing with student concerns regarding class material, test taking skills or just to talk. If these hours are inconvenient, see me before or after class, send an e-mail, or call to schedule an appointment. You made a point as an instructor to reach out students by making specific suggestions about how to contact the instructor and by offering to address concerns that wont comprise the learning process for the entire class.

Motivation

In terms of motivation and stimulation you never fail to spark the class’ interest. I value most not only your experience as a teacher but also your extensive experience in the field of psychology and medicine. I admire your ability to present material separate from your college-educated understanding to more relevant, real-life situations. I appreciate a good mix of practical experience and theory. As opposed to history teachers, who can not go back in time and relive the history that they teach.

Everyday in class is a new learning experience right down to the last minute before class is over. There are only a few teachers that I have come across that can take even the driest of subjects like “the function of the brain” and make it enjoyable, and you are one of them. You create lessons that are interactive both mentally and physically, using the various learning techniques. (oral, audio, visual..etc), A sense of boredom is sure to be present in every classroom, but you make it your duty to keep us sustained and engaged.
