twenty-one.

I have twenty-one cats.

Sierra is so dipped. Would you write “I invited Six people to the party”? How totally not there. That’s the same as saying “I invited Twenty-One people to the party.”

Or how about this “Bobby refused to Co-Operate during dinner and threw the creamed spinach against the wall.” Why capitalize it just because there is a hyphen? I don’t get it.

I don’t know what is wrong with you Brain-Dead people.

If it’s at the beginning of the sentence, “Twenty-one.” If it’s in the middle of the sentence, you can use the numeral, unless you’re using it with other spelled-out numbers. However, a general rule is numbers ten and below are typically spelled out (unless you’re referring to an address) and numbers higher than that are written as numerals.

I was always tought to spell it “Twenty-one”. This is because one is still part of the word twenty and you only capitalize the first letter of the word.

Unless it is at the beginning of a sentence, it is just twenty-one.

They aren’t bonrally capitalized.

If they occur in a title, thye both get capitalized.

And you are correct, twenty-one and Twenty-One are hyphenated.

You don’t have to capitalize it unless it is at the beginning of a sentence.
