” In my 4) Midnight Confessions I think of ALL the 3) Things I Should Have Said to Matt,” lamented Miss Kitty Russell to Doc Adams. “Maybe if I had said, ‘Hee Haw’ a hundred times a day, worn yellow bloomers and chewed bubble gum I wouldn’t have been replaced by that Horrible Hillbilly From Hell !!”

Doc:” Kitty…..1) Let’s Live For Today. Matt has made his decision, and that’s that.” He was trying to console her when Sunshine MacGillicutty came flying into town, resplendent in her yellow bloomers, chewing bubble gum and shouting , “HEE HAW,,,,,,Where’s MattBaby?!!”

Kitty looked up , moaned loudly and dropped he chin to her chest……” Ohhhhhh, Lord.”

Sunshine came to an abrupt stop in front of the jail. Matt came out to greet her…….”Hi, sweetie. What a nice surprise.”

Sunshine glared at him……”2) Where Were You When I Needed You, Matt ? God! I rolled over in bed expecting a little lovin’ from you and poof!! No YOU !! You didn’t even say, ‘goodbye.’ ”

Matt ushered her into the office, away from the prying eyes and ears of the residents who were watching them. (Whenever Sunshine came to town in her yellow bloomers, it tended to cause a little stir among the townsfolk!)

Kitty: “And now we’ll be treated with their shreiks of sexual delight, compliments of that libidious lout from Virginia!!”

Doc just smiled and rubbed his face, as was his usual custom when something tickled his fancy.

Inside Matt’s office, Sunshine was waiting for his explanation.

“Well…..Go ahead…..Tell me why you left me so abruptly!!”

Matt looked at her sternly:

Matt:”Need I remind you?! I have a job and

o- CCASIONALLY, I need to DO IT !!! Sometimes I think you forget the fact that I am a U.S.Marshal !!”

Sunshine stopped pouting and smiled…….”You look so DARN cute when you’re angry with me…….DANG…… I’m getting a little…..”

Matt interrupted….”Oh NO, you don’t !! It’s 9 o’clock in the morning, for heaven’s sake!!! Someone may walk in !! ”

Sunshine giggled and inched closer to him…..” Sugar boy….

I have a river of love for you…..And 5) The River Is Wide and beggining to…….. OVERFLOW !!! And with that, she grabbed him and started kissing him passionately, as she ran her hands through his hair and …..everywhere else!

Matt tried to stay resolute , but she was just tooooooooo

persuasive. He carried her to their favorite cell and hung up the curtain that Sunshine had made JUST for them!

Meanwhile , Kitty sat across the street, never once taking her eyes off the jail. “If I have to 6) Wait A Million Years to speak with Matt, I will !! What on EARTH is going on in there?”

JUST as she started to walk over, a VERY loud baritone moan could be heard……

Kitty stopped dead in her tracks. Doc handed her a bottle he had in his hip pocket.

Doc:” Here , Kitty. Have a swig of my special brandy….

Bella Linda.(bonus) ” He patted her on the shoulder as she took it from his hand and drank the entire contents!!
