Very simply put, objective means to have an open mind to all positions. Subjective means to give only from your point of view.

Objective generally refers to something (such as an opinion) based on evidentia that are observable/provable.
Subjective generally refers to something (such as an opinion) that is based upon evidentia that are not observable/provable.
Most people can agree on objective facts (although folks argue about what is objective), there tends to be great disagreement about “facts” that are subjective.

there is no such thing as objective when it comes to human communication. no one can be truly objective. we are all subjects and we bring our subjectivity everywhere.

Objective if what you observe. Example- Jane is wearing a red dress. It is an opinion based on what you see or observe. Basically facts.
Subjective is your opinion- Jane is wearing an ugly dress. Ugly is your opinion. To some Jane might be wearing a beautiful dress.
