Metaphors + Personification?
Can someone help me write some metaphors and personifications to put in a writing assignment? Just list any good ones that I can use that have to do with people, fire, basketball, detective cases, and science experiments.

The fire consumed the building, showering it in a blanket of red and orange dancing flames.
The ball was a rabbit that sprang into the basket.

A few days ago
The fire roared with anger at the people who were watching the basketball game with exhuberation. Tentions arose when detective cases were needed to solve the fire mystery with the science experiments that were bubbling like a glass of champaigne in the lab..?
