Each state is in charge of education. As far as honors classes, and who gets in and who doesn’t, that’s decided by each individual school. The school isn’t just going to draw names out of a hat to determine this. How well did you do last year in those classes? What were your test scores like on the past years achievement test? You probably don’t the answer to that one yet. These could be factors in you being bumped down. You may very well be capable of being in an honors class, but if your report card doesn’t reflect that then they are more than likely going to give your spot to someone else.

If you are bothered by it that badly, and your parents, all you would have to do is go talk to the counselors at the school. Depending on the size of your school, it might even be an oversight on their part. It could all be a big mistake, and you have the wrong placement right now. Check it out. Either way, at least you’ll know.

First try to remember a reason other than it’s cool, ect. You must have had a goal in mind or there wouldn’t be frustration. At sometime in your life you may hear a quotation;”I must be in a rut.” Human nature is only predictable when a 24 hour observance is used, consequently we pay only a small fraction to this phenomena. Look beyond the eyeball and you will see a productive route and be more successful even if you don’t become president. When you reach the top of the mountain look at where you are at, for the there is but one place other than going to the top, and this is going down.

At my school, if you get 2 D’s on your report card, you’re exited out of the honors program.

You should ask your school. Sometimes they put poor people in lower classes because they figure you won’t be able to afford to continue your education, and it would be a waste of resources to put you in college prep classes.

every school is different, but it is most likely because ur grades were too low or you were not recommended by your teacher
