Is this a good sentence?

Martin Luther King, one of the many examples of a great leader, changed the nation’s future for the better.

Does it need some fixing?

Martin Luther King, one of the many examples of great leadership, changed the nation’s future for the better. However, I don’t know why you want to stress the “many examples” you are not going to do anything with in the first place. Martin Luther King was a great leader who changed the nation for the better.

It’s fine.

Maybe change the wording a little, so that it sounds a little less awkward.

One of the many examples of a great leader, Martin Luther King, Jr. postively influenced the future of the nation.

I believe it is very well written especially since it expresses a personal opinion in a civil manner.
