Is there anything wrong with the use of “breached” in the following sentence snippet?

“and the level of absurdity breached here will never be achieved by anyone, male or female, imaginary or real.”

Breached makes no sense in the sentence. I believe the writer meant to say “reached.”

Indeed. “Breached” would mean something is broken, i.e. penetrated; as such it makes absolutely no sense in the sentence. It is most likely a typo, as the removing the “b” gives the word “reached” which makes far more sense.
