That is absolutely amazing, especially for a 7th grader.I’ll just go ahead and nitpick a little bit. The introduction is slightly impersonal. Try not to start out the paper with such a bland topic sentence – instead maybe begin with a story. Jump right into a very short version of a story of a trial she had to overcome. For example, “When my dad was only ten, the Nazis came to his house, knocked down the door, and shot his father on the spot. Despite being forced into the “man-of-the-house” role at a young age, my father never faltered, and his strength in the face of problems continues to this day, making him the man I admire the most.” By starting out with a little story, it warms up the reader, and makes them want to read more. Another thing- it’s good to talk about your mom a lot, but the essay isn’t supposed to be all about her. The school wants to hear about YOU. Make sure you include the impact that your mom has had on you, and how her experiences have affected your view on life.

An achiever or a quiet achiever.

Someone who diligently works at their set task until it is successfully accomplished.
