Of course it is. Israel is a recognised country. Why should it be antisemitic to say or write it? Do you get accused of being racists for saying Mexico? Or communist for saying Russia? Look in your Atlas and there, right on the East coast of the Mediterranean, is a little country named ‘Israel’. I’m sure the inhabitants, whether Jews, Christian, Arabs or Muslim don’t mind anyone using their county’s name.

Israel is the name of a country. Can you say France, United Kingdom, United States? Of course.

Of course- Israel is a country! There is nothing anti-Semitic about saying the name of a country. It would be like being called a racist for saying “Africa” (even though Africa’s actually a continent, but you know what I mean…)

It’s the name of a country; of course it’s okay. It’s also possible to use the word in a sentence that IS anti-semitic.

Isn’t Isreal a country? If so, I think you’re being paranoid. If not, I’m very sorry!
