How to make sense of the following sentence, especially the word “though”?

The sentence is:

The websites does not differ though, it depends on how fast your internet connectivity is.

Can anyone interpret it for me?

The websites are the same. If your internet connection is slow, you may be less happy with the websites, because you have to wait longer & will feel more impatient as you wait.

The websites do not differ, however; it depends on the speed of your internet connection.
