How do you pronounce the word grange?
There is a place in Toronto that I frequently pass, called Village by the Grange. Would you pronounce it as “graynge” (sounds like range), “grawnge” (with the aw sound found in awful) or something different?

It rhymes with “strange”. The Grange itself is well worth a visit. Last time I was there there were folks dressed up in period costume doing period things. A living museum.

I would pronounce it like “range”. But place-names can be unique. Especially Canadian place-names, what with the French influence.
