Here I am with another “word” question. I find it interesting that people are beginning to say, “He is in

hospital,” instead of “He is in the hospital.” Think about this: If a husband asks his wife where to look in order to find his hat, would she say, “It is in closet,” or would she say ” It is in THE closet?” I think she would say in the closet. Why is this different from “in hospital?” Words and expressions are a hobby for me. I hope I am not boring anyone!

A person can be in any hospital (in hospital indicates that they are in a hospital but does not reveal which hospital). Hopefully a husband’s hat could only be in once specific closet (in the closet)

I am going to watch. Like I said before, I have studied abiogenesis extensively, and it is both logically and statistically impossible. It is great having the statistics on my side. It gives me the upper hand every time while arguing with you narrow-minded, superceding far left socialists. It would have been better served on comedy central, however. I need a good laugh tonight. I invited several agnostics to watch it, because like millions in this world, they are only following the new public-fab when it comes to questions of our existance. Life. It is an intelligent process that many think was a random occurance. As mankind, we consider ourselves so wise. Yet for all that is worth, we still do not know what life is.

If it`s a hobby for you, how would you deal with…..”he`s being held incommunicado” ??? Just another example of the complexities of the English language to a foreigner
