But regarding the last question, I think both answers could be correct. A booming economy means that people will have more money to spend. They would spend more money to eat out (need more waiters) and they would spend more money to buy books and magazines (need more writers). So whenever there are two correct answers, you will have to determine which is more correct than the other. If people have more spending cash, do you think more will eat out rather than buy books and magazines?

Therefore human nature dictates that when one has a little extra money, that person will almost invariably eat out as opposed to sitting down to a long book that may take several days to satisfy the spirit.
