Help.. what word is this?
It means like.. having a meeting the first day of school explaining all the rules of the school.
Is that a meeting? or how would I call it.
The students come there and teachers explain what
are some future things they want to do with the school.

Are you looking for the word orientation? That’s when you gather the kids together, give them school rules, where to ind class, etc. That’s what it sounds like you are trying to do, and it sounds better than a meeting.

Usually it is called an orientation session. It could also be an assembly if everyone is called together in the gym or auditorium.
