Explain this saying please?

“You talk like a man with a paper @$$.” I know what it means. Basically it is someone who talks like an authority on a subject, when they are just a pretend expert. Like someone talking BS. I just dont understand the correlation with the phrase to its meaning. Can anyone help me?

My wife and I discussed this, and–although we have no idea what the ACTUAL correlation may be–this is what we came up with as a possibility:

If something is made of thin enough paper, people are able to see through it. So, if your posterior happens to be made out of paper, that means that people can see through it and see that you are (literally) full of s***.

try talking computer non-sense jargon to a stranger and if that person will like pretend that he understand what you are talking about then his exactly the “man with a paper ***”…

Pretty much what you said.

All talk w/ no.experience.

The “paper” referencences no substance as in “paper tiger”

All words,no real claws or teeth to back up their BS
