1. If it’s the subject of the sentence, you say I. If it’s the object of the sentence, you say me.
ex.: My friend and I went to the park. “You” are doing it, so “you” should be “I” in this sentence.
Tom showed my friend and me how to use myspace. “Tom” is doing it, so “you”should be “me” in this sentence.
If YOU are performing the action, you’re “I”.
If SOMEONE ELSE is performing the action, you’re “me”.
2. It should be If I were that person.. This is the subjunctive tense, and the only time (I think!) that you will come across this sentence structure. It’s a conditional starting with If.
3. In this sentence, the word being modified by this clause is “one,” not “she.” She is obviously single, but “one” can be plural as it implies one of a group. You would choose the word “people” in this case.
My friend and I (or “We”) are 23.
however…
“my friend and me” is objective.
My dad yelled at my friend and me (or “us”).

“people” is the more correct usage of the plural for person; however, “persons” is gaining in popularity.

If I were you is accepted as correct because it has become the common way of saying it. Sometimes English is just that way. Kind of like when people say, “When the audience (which is a singular noun) gets back from intermission, they (plural pronoun) will return to their seats.” Saying it this say is acceptable although it is technically wrong.
