English grammar question!?
is this lyric grammatically correct?
Crashed into the bitter end
Is the thing’s I cannot avoid
( Hypocrisy – slave to the parasites )
I think it must be :
Crashing into the bitter end is the thing (that) I cannot avoid
anyway, what does that “`s” after “thing” means?

Crashing into the bitter end is the thing I cannot avoid – fine .
An apostrophe should only be used when speaking of something belonging to the (thing). The only other time an apostrophe is used is when it stands in place of something missed as in you’re (standing for ‘ you are’).

“thing’s” on that part is really wrong.
‘s – it’s like a contraction for is.
Example. That’s right! (That is right!)
