Correct! It makes sense.

Affluent is an adjective and you used it perfectly.

This is the correct sentence. Yours does not make sense.

Juliet is the young, thirteen-year-old daughter of affluent parents.

You used affluent correctly, assuming you were trying to say Juliet comes from a financially well-off family.

The word 13-year-old should be preceded by an article (“the,” for example) and should be hyphenated. The sentence asking for help was riddled with mistakes.

it might be better if you just do it like this:

Juliet is a young, 13-year old girl from an affluent family.

(instead of using “daughter”, i used “girl”)

Affluent alludes to an abundance of money, property, or possessions. Your sentence suggests that Juliet is, indeed, a young woman from a family who has substantial money, property, or posssessions.

also, you should write out the number ‘thirteen’ ..write out numbers in writing unless it’s over a hundred.
